We are running out of things to do in NYC. We have been to all the tourist spots. We have been to all the museums. We don't like clubbing. Chelsea Pier is too expensive. Besides going to great restaurants for brunch and dinner on weekends, we have nothing to do between meals. And one day, we came across Chelsea Market. That gave us things to do for a little while. They have a great florist, great houseware kitchenware shops, hale and hearty soups, and several yummy bakeries where you can see them bake it right there. And then....we are running out of things to do in NYC again... Any suggestions?

Those buns in the oven are yummy! I had a few of them. They are stuffed with tasty pork. The uncooked buns are white. The ladies there sticked them to the side of the oven, covered the oven, and let them cook for about 10 minutes. The results are soft, cripty, and tasty buns !

Isn't it beautiful? We had been looking for a place with beautiful fall foilage. My boyfriend found this place, Mohonk Montain House. It's a very expensive hotel with a hiking trail. The hiking trail is open to all visitors (I think, otherwise, we wouldn't be able to get in. :) The trail is amazing. There's a rock scramble where you sometimes have to climb up and then crawl across the dirt rock. It's like a small adventure trip. When we get up the trail, we found this amazing view of the mountain house. I just took my breath away, heheh.. :)

It was one of those day again when it was a nice day, but we didn't know where to go. We googled around and found a place near Princeton for a fall festival. It was fun. We walked around seeing families picking their pumpkins, playing and feeding animals, hiking and looking at fall foliage, trying to find a way out from a corn maze, and having donuts and hot cider ! I missed those fun fall days. :)

I went around the city that day with my best friend, Narisa, from my high school. I haven't seen her for a few years. It was great getting to share fun time with a best friend. :) We also went up to the empire state building to overlook the city at night. I have been up there many times already, but that was my first time at night. Too bad, it was raining and very foggy. Still, it was quite an amazing experience.

"The Hill" is a street with shops where University of Colorado students hang out. The clock is located at the end of the hill and next to the university. I was there for a conference. Too bad, I couldn't drive and didn't get a chance to go hiking on a mountain nearby. My advisor told me that he went up to a mountain and hiked. It was amazing because there was still snow up there in the mountain in the middle of hot summer month of July !!

At one point in Thai history, someone was on this giant red swing and swang it in a traditional royal ceremory. Today, it is just a remembrance. Just like any other historical places in Bangkok, I always see it from a car and never actually walk around and appriciate it. Here I am taking my boyfriend around and enjoying it.

"The Ancient City" is a reproduction of several important Thai historical buildings, monuments, and places. My sister drove me and my boyfriend there. She just started driving and was still a new driver. It was quite enjoyable seeing my boyfriend sitting still and being so scared of her driving.. hehe..
