Taken: Sacred Valley, Peru @ March 5, 2006
After an 8-hour flight from New York to Lima, Peru, 2 hours of sleep, and another 1-hour flight from Lima to Cuzco, here we were riding on the bus, finally on the way to Sacred Valley and enjoying the incredible landscape of Peru (and of course, their local animals, llamas and alpacas). The houses of common Incas were built using mud similar to the one in the picture. For the Inca nobility, their houses were built using stones/rocks, just like those in Machu Picchu.
